Hi shad, nice to see you writing again. Comfortably numb ahhhhhh....that comes with age and experience doesn't it....to actually be able to be comfortably numb as you describe....hmmmmm sometime i wounder why is it human nature to listen what others have to say and think about us.....why do we measure ourselves against the expectations of others....it is good when it is in our favour but if things goes the other way than it could drag us down even to an extend that it disrupt emotions to a very deep degree

Many have i seen attitudes and personality change as a result.......sad and sometime pitiful to look....as with your comfortably numb....i have notice some of those comfortably numb live in their own space quiet and demure and sad fully not what they use to be....but at least i know they are comfortable....i just hope you are one of those who are comfortably numb but the spark is still there....the zest of life is still there

By the way i am not a writer nor am i an artist but let just say an appreciator of those who can. I am more or less a scientist at heart from the beginning, more of an analyst...hehehe my shortcoming....anyway thank you for inviting me to join in your circle of writers...never dream that i would ever get such invitation......:-)peace
