Fake myspace!!?

My sister has been receiving messages on myspace from a fake myspace.

She thinks its one of her ex best friends pretending to be someone else. She is getting really rude and threatening messages.

Is there any way to find out who is sending these messages?

Like is it possible to find out what computer it is coming from?

delete her from myspace, report the person, talk to Tom/myspace people, or just stay off myspace for a while, or just don't read the messages, ***and set your profile to private so she can't even send it to you!!***

not really since all those messages go trough the myspace server... so if anything you'll just the ip from myspace servers... just tell her to junk them and ignore them.... if she really wants to stop it completely, tell her to block ALL incoming messages from the "account settings" her friends can still message her as long as they reply to her bullitins or comments :)

MySpace could probably reveal who the person is, but only through a court order.

I would suggest that your sister just report the profile for harassment and have MySpace take care of the rest.
