PhotoBucket MySpace Question?

I have uploaded photos to photo bucket and tried to change the size of the photos but it does not seem to be working when i post them on Myspace the are still humongous. Does any body have a sure fire way of shrinking these photos and give me step by step instructions to do this. Thanks in advance and best answer will get ten points.

PhotoBucket MySpace Question?

1. Log into your PhotoBucket account.

2. Select a picture you would like to upload.

3. Look to the top right of the uploading box and you will see 'options'.

4. Click on 'options' and change the size of your photographs. I usually change mine to 'website, email'.

5. Upload picture.

6. Copy and paste the code into where you'd like it.

I asked my friends a while ago and they said that the easiest way to change the size was to go into paint and shrink them. I didn't like that, but I found that you could also take screenshots and crop around them. But uploading them to PhotoBucket and reducing their size before uploading seems to keep the quality.

to shrink your photos you should go on paint and go to image and then go to resize and skew and then change the size and then save it and then upload it on photobucket and then it should work.

PhotoBucket MySpace Question?

Open the photo in your usual picture programme, whether it's Paint or whatever. Then make it smaller, to the size you want it. Save it with a different name, so that it doesn't ruin the original picture. THEN upload it again onto Photobucket.

You can't change the size once it's uploaded.

Photoshop Tutorial: Learning How to Crop Photos and Images

Cropping a photograph in Photoshop is an easy and simple task. Cropping means cutting away a specific portion of an image to focus on one main part of the image. Cropping can change the size and shape of a picture as well. It all depends on what you want in the picture.

When to crop a photo: If there is a lot of empty space in the photo, it is a good idea to crop out the empty space to focus on the subject.

When not to crop a photo: If there is not a lot of empty space, it deems pointless to crop a photo. Use your best judgment and keep in mind cropping will change the shape and size of a photo.

Step 1) To begin, you will need to search for and open the document that you would like to crop. The image can be anything or of anything.

Step 2) Now that the document is open, you can simply crop any part of the image you want to. To crop an image, you need to use the "crop tool" in Photoshop. The hot key is "C". This will automatically select the crop tool by clicking "c" on the keyboard.

Step 3) To use the tool you will now left-clock and hold. While you are doing this, drag the mouse to another part of the image. Do not select the entire image. Afterall, there would be no point in cropping then. After, unclick the mouse.

Step 4) Now you will have two colors on your image. One will be dark/gray. This represents the part of the image you are getting rid or cropping. The other will be the same color of the image. This represents the part of the image you are keeping or not cropping.

Step 5) The idea is to select the part of the image you want to keep with the crop tool. Now after you have unclicked the mouse, you will right click the image, despite whether the area you wanted is selected. When you right click, a small drop down menu will give you two options: "cancel" and "crop". Cancel will end the crop and allow you to do the process again if you didnt select the right area.

Step 6) That's all there really is to it. You can always crop again if you do not want to cancel the entire crop.
